Our recent purchase the California OPTOMAP, is one of the most valuable tools in the field of optometry. Our patients appreciate the quick and non-invasive nature of this technology, making eye exams more comfortable for you since no dilation is required.

This advanced technology benefits our patients by scanning their retina. We use it to capture a wide-angle view of your retina, helping us detect eye diseases at an early stage or when suspect of retinal conditions.

Optomap images allow us to explain your eye conditions in a clear and understandable way, empowering you to make informed decisions about your eye health.

Our local eye doctor is offering an affordable fee of only $29 for this test making it very accessible to all patients.

One of our eye professionals will ask you in the pre test room if you’d like to take advantage of this benefit.

Optical Coherence Topography OCT

We are excited to offer the Optical Coherence Tomography (OCT) to our patients into our San Antonio eye clinic.

OCT requires pupils dilation to obtain a better view of your retina.

This means we can adjust your treatment plan as needed, ensuring the best possible outcomes and communicate with other eye care professionals. Pictures and your records stay on file for years to compare if conditions advances or not

Autorefractor

The Nidek ARK 530 is a smart device used to check refractive error, ensuring accurate measurements even for patients with cataracts or special lenses. Its smart technology guarantees consistent and reliable measurements, akin to having a super-smart assistant for your eye doctor

The ARK 530 is a special device your nearby eye doctor uses in the pre-testing area to check refractive error or what type of power you will need in your glasses or contacts. You may remember these machines when you go for a doctor’s visit and you ask to see either a balloon or little house. It does two important things: it measures how your eyes focus (autorefraction) and checks the shape of your cornea (keratometry).

It can also check for early signs of changes in your eyes, like presbyopia (when you have trouble seeing close up as you get older), hyperopia and myopia.

Even if you have cataracts, corneal opacities, had LASIK, or have special lenses in your eyes, the Nidek ARK can still measure your refractive error accurately.

The Nidek ARK uses smart technology to make sure the measurements are always consistent and reliable.

Pupils Measurement

Another fantastic addition to our optical services is the Shamir Spark Mi Up.

In our ever-evolving world, where accuracy is a top priority, Shamir Spark Mi Up stands out as a touch-free, smart, and compact measurement tool. Imagine a tabletop mirror that’s not just an ordinary mirror but a tech-savvy device ensuring accurate measurements while keeping things safe and hygienic.

This revolutionary measuring tool is designed with your comfort in mind. It’s like a mini tech marvel that makes the eyeglass measurement process a breeze. The best part? You get to experience a touch-free, hi-tech journey to the perfect pair of glasses.

Spark Mi Up not only adds a touch of innovation but also saves precious time during your visit. With its smart technology, it assures high precision measurement accuracy, ensuring that your glasses are tailored right with pupillary distance, segment high, pantostopic tilt, and other optical measurements required to ensure good vision, especially with progressive lenses.

Ever wonder how your eye doctor measures your eyes through those stylish sunglasses?

Well, Spark Mi Up does it effortlessly!

It sees your pupils clearly even through dark lenses, making measurements as accurate and easy as with clear lenses. Our re-make glasses due to patients non-adjusting is much lower compared to our competition because we care and take these measurements as our high priority.
